MOSCOW, Dec 9 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may moderately increase at the opening on Wednesday backed by growth of the U.S. stock index futures, analysts said.
The U.S. stock index futures are gaining around 0.25% this morning, Alor Broker analyst Alexei Antonov said. “This promises a positive market opening. If the external background continues to improve, then the MOEX Russia Index may well update its historical maximum,” he said.
Olma senior analyst Anton Startsev said that European indices closed mixed, and Asian indices are not showing single dynamics as well.
“There are no significant reasons for the exit from consolidation on the RTS index so far, but signs of progress in discussing the stimulus package in the U.S. give reason for cautious optimism on stock markets as a whole,” Startsev said.
